"Honey I Shrunk the Audience" to Return, Disney Says
Among yesterday's news that Captain Eo would be returning to all of the Disney Parks in which it originally played was a bit of news that might have been overlooked. One short sentence at the end of the press release for Walt Disney World's announcement noted future plans for HISTA. It read as follows:"[Captain Eo] will replace “Honey, I Shrunk the Audience” which is planned to return at an undetermined date."
No official announcements have been made for the Disneyland Resort in California on this matter but for Disney World it seems that Wayne Szalinski is not making a grand exit after all but, instead, taking a mini hiatus.
